Providing Housing and Hope

what-we-doChicago House provides permanent, community-based housing, supportive services, and prevention outreach to individuals and families struggling with HIV and AIDS. Many come to us with the added burdens of poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental illness, as well as the need for job skills and training.

Our innovative programs are designed to meet the unique needs of individuals and families who are often disproportionately impacted by HIV and AIDS, including many in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community as well as minority communities who struggle with health and income disparities.

Through our array of services that include supportive housing, HIV prevention and case management and linkage-to-medical care services, and a groundbreaking employment program, Chicago House provides our clients with the tools, resources, and support to advance their lives in wellness, with dignity and hope.
