Last year was a tremendously historic year for Chicago House. We had some big accomplishments, and we’re ecstatic about a successful holiday appeal in which we raised $80,000 from individual donations (91% toward our goal!). We’re also grateful for over $30,000 from foundation and corporate giving. Every donation counts, and through your generosity we can look forward to another year of helping guide Chicago’s most vulnerable groups toward wholeness and self-sufficiency. On behalf of the men, women and children of Chicago House, thank you!

Some of our proudest moments in 2013 include opening the TransLife Center over the summer, providing Trans-specific housing, employment programs, healthcare and social services. We also hosted former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton at our Speaker Series Luncheon. Clinton applauded Chicago House for “stepping up to provide the full range of services that people with HIV and those at risk of infection need.” We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2014!
