Welcome to 35 Chicago House Moments! This blog is part of a year-long communications campaign to celebrate 35 years of service at Chicago House. Our goal is to share our rich and vital history and connect this legacy to our present and our future while celebrating 35 years at home.
Founded in 1985 during the height of the AIDS crisis, Chicago House initially served as a housing resource, and in most cases a hospice, for those living with HIV/AIDS. Today, the organization empowers people living with or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS through four mission-critical pillars, with the central purpose to lead healthy, dignified lives. Follow along with #ChicagoHouse35.
This blog will be a growing list of notable Chicago House moments. We selected 35 in celebration of this momentous year, but know there are many more. Send us yours!
