An Update on the Project Restoration Campaign

Earlier this year, Chicago House took action to raise funds quickly in an effort to stabilize the financial health of our organization. In late January, we launched the Project Restoration Campaign, a bold effort to raise half a million dollars by April 1. People from all parts of our city, state, country, and even globe came together and supported Chicago House by making a contribution to Project Restoration.

Today, as the campaign wraps up, Chicago House reports nearly 200 donors, including 105 first-time donors, have come together to raise more than $455,000 for Chicago House.

In Chicago House’s 35 years of existence, this level of support has never been more critical. Each year, more than 3,000 individuals rely upon Chicago House as their housing provider and connector to health needs and employment services.

“The deeply critical support from the Project Restoration Campaign will allow us to move forward with our new strategic priorities, such as locating Chicago House in the geography of HIV, the Getting to Zero movement.” CEO Michael Herman.

“There is of course much more to do in the future, but the results of this campaign make clear the enthusiastic support of the entire Chicago House community. I’m deeply grateful for your investment in our work in the past, during this campaign, and in the future. Thank you.” said Herman.
